Moving to Hawaii?

If you're thinking about moving to Hawaii, there is quite a bit to consider when choosing your moving company. You've probably heard terms like "steamship container", "lift-van", "LCL", or "cubic feet" thrown around. What you'll find here is all of the answers you've been looking for about moving to Hawaii.

Hawaii is a beautiful chain of islands out in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. Moving here is much different than moving from Chicago to L.A.

Your household goods will need to be handled and protected from different movements than normally found when moving over roads. To get from the mainland to Hawaii, steamships will carry your belongings. When moving between islands, your goods move on barges!

Anything not made or grown on the Hawaiian Islands has to be shipped. Steamship containers handle most of the products that are sent to the islands.

Your goods will be shipped in these containers for their trip to the islands! These containers come in 20 foot, 40 foot, and 45 foot long sizes. The size you need is based on the amount of household goods you have that you want to move to Hawaii.

There are also different service levels for your move to Hawaii. A door to door move is where we provide full service. We'll pack your household goods at your origin home, and provide full transportation to your destination home - including unpacking and removal of the packing debris!

A warehouse to warehouse move provides for transportation between one of our facilities on the mainland, and one of our facilities in Hawaii. You'll need to pack your goods, bring them to us, and arrange to pick them up from our location on the other side.

There are variations of either of these two services too! You can choose to move door to warehouse, or warehouse to door as well. This gives you a completely tailored program to fit your needs or budget.
